INGREDIENTS
300 g Medjool Dates mashed/finely chopped
200 g Mawa use at room temperature, not chilled
1 tsp Ghee
Delicio Rose Essence
Delicio Orange Essence

Heat a pan, add the Ghee/oil
Add the dates & the Mawa mix well
Cook for approx. 4-6 minutes
Once mixture is ready, it should form a mass and leave the sides of the pan Add the Delicio essences, mix very well
Transfer to a greased tray, using a greased spoon level the mix in the tray
Allow to completely cool, then cut into desired shapes.
Chef’s Tips; Any variety of date maybe used, if using a hard variety please soak first in milk.
